Good 2 Go, the first local restaurant to be solely take out and delivery, has arrived on Main Street in downtown Fort Atkinson with hot and fresh food.

“We have been very lucky the community and staff have embarrassed us so well. We love being in downtown Fort Atkinson,” says owner, Christa Bowers. During the pandemic, small businesses have taken a major hit and have been struggling. Though Bowers opened a few months before the pandemic began the business has persevered through it thanks to the community.

Good 2 Go does not only do takeout and delivery but it’s also an event space. Located at 88 South Main Street with a perfect view of the river. It opened in December 2020 and caters all of their foods for delivery and carry out. We knew there was a need for contactless delivery and to have new food options. That was our goal to keep great food hot and fresh,” says Bowers.

Take-out boxes with logo and food came within a thirty-minute range.

The business adapted well to the challenges the pandemic has brought and has continued to do well.

“We sell sandwiches, rice bowls, flatbreads, salads, desserts, and other fresh food. Our goal is to keep great food hot and fresh,” says Bowers. From mac and cheese to cheesecake, Good 2 Go has many fresh options for delivery and take out including drinks. Only a little over a year after opening Good 2 Go has purchased the building next door and will be permanently moving into that location next month.

With Good 2 Go & Bridge’s expansion, one can only infer that great things are to come in the future for the new small business.
